6. Will the United States participate in COP23?

The United States sent a document to the United Nations (UN), on August 4, 2017, to formalize its intention to abandon the Paris Agreement. He also announced that he will continue to participate in international climate change negotiations such as COP23. The Donald Trump government will participate in COP23 “to protect US interests and ensure that all (environmental) policy options remain open to this administration”, the State Department said.
