Extinction Rebellion (XR) was established in the United Kingdom after about a hundred academics signed a document calling on young people to act. (XR) was released in late October 2018 by Roger Hallam, Gail Bradbrook, Simon Bramwell and other activists of the Rising Up! In November 2018, they carried out several acts of civil disobedience in London.
