In 2023, it is up to the United Arab Emirates, in Asia, to hold the summit of the Conference of the Parties for Climate Change, COP28. The city of Dubai welcomes the countries participating in the convention from November 30 to December 12.

Expo City Dubai

Expo City Dubai, in the UAE is the legacy of Expo 2020 Dubai. They consider it “The city of the future focused on people.” Easily accessible for everyone with various means of transportation from different points of the city. It has several thematic pavilions, among which stand out for COP28: Alif – The Mobility Pavilion, Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion, the Women’s Pavilion, three History of Nations Pavilions and the Connect Conference Center ( C3), key location for the COP28 climate summit.
Blue Zone
Space intended for the Climate Summit and managed directly by the United Nations. Conferences and negotiations between member countries attending the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) are held here. Only non-profit organizations, agencies, media and observer organizations accredited to the Convention participate.
Green Zone
The Green Zone is a space at COP28 so that they can express themselves in an interactive, participatory and inclusive way on everything related to climate action. The daily activities are related to the themes addressed in the COP28 Blue Zone, with the intention of connecting the themes in the two spaces. The COP28 Green Zone is located adjacent to the Blue Zone spaces and will be open to the public from November 30 to December 12.
