2. How is electricity produced by wind power?
The process is carried out by means of a wind turbine, an artifact provided with a tower, on top of which the gondola or nacelle is placed, a kind of cabin somewhat larger than a small truck. In the gondola is most of the equipment involved in the wind process. At its nose the mill is attached to capture the wind and send it inside, where are the devices that convert the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical energy and then into electrical energy. Once the electricity is obtained, it is driven by cables that go down to the wall of the tower, from there they pass to a transformer that converts the direct current into alternating current before going to power the electrical network.

Wind Power: clean, renewable and natural
Wind energy is the ability to obtain an effect from wind or air currents and convert it into electrical energy. Wind energy is clean, renewable and natural, so it goes in the direction of the Paris Agreement and the fight against global warming and climate change. Wind energy, solar energy and lithium batteries from electric cars are the main weapons available to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The wind process is carried out by means of a wind turbine…
